b. Subscription Data
When you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not store your payment information.

c. Crash and Performance Data
We use Sentry to collect crash logs and performance data to improve app stability. This data includes device information and error reports but does not include personally identifiable information.

d. Advertising Data
We use AdMob by Google to display ads to free users. AdMob collects advertising identifiers and usage information to provide ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

Important Notice:

  • Third-Party Content: CalmWave may include sounds, music, images, or other content sourced from various providers. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure proper licensing, we do not guarantee that all content is free from copyright claims.
  • No Responsibility: Digital Ventures OU assumes no responsibility or liability for any copyright infringement claims related to content within the app.
  • Fair Use: Some content may be used under fair use principles for educational, therapeutic, or personal wellness purposes.
  • User Responsibility: Users are responsible for their own use of the app and any content accessed through it.

4. DMCA Compliance & Content Removal

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content in our app infringes your copyright:

  • Report Process: Email us at [email protected] with:
    • Description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
    • Identification of the infringing material and its location in the app
    • Your contact information and a statement of good faith belief
    • A statement that the notification is accurate and you're authorized to act
  • Response Time: We will investigate and respond within 5-10 business days
  • Removal: If valid, we will remove or disable access to the infringing content promptly
  • Counter-Notice: Users may submit counter-notifications if they believe content was removed in error

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Crash reports are shared with Sentry. Advertising data is shared with Google AdMob under their privacy policies. Subscription verification is handled through Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide our services. Subscription data is retained for the duration of your subscription and as required for tax and legal purposes.

7. Your Rights

By using the App, you consent to the data collection described in this policy. You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App. Subscription management is handled through your App Store account.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We disclaim all liability for content accuracy, availability, or suitability
  • Users assume all risks associated with app usage
  • Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
