2. Our Privacy Commitment

CalmWave is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or process any personal data on our servers. All personal information you provide during onboarding is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to us.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

During onboarding and use of the App, you may provide preferences including:

• Age range and gender
• Sleep difficulty level
• Relaxation and wellness goals
• Preferred session length
• Anxiety level

This information is used solely to personalize your meditation and wellness experience within the App. It is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party. You can delete this data at any time through the App's Settings.

4. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google, to understand general App usage patterns. Analytics data is anonymous and does not include any personally identifiable information. During setup, you can choose between full anonymous analytics or minimal anonymous analytics. You may change your preference or opt out at any time through the App's Settings.

Firebase Analytics may collect:

• App interaction events (e.g., session starts, feature usage)
• Device type and operating system version
• General geographic region (country-level, derived from IP address by Google)

5. Crash and Performance Data

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports and performance data to improve App stability. This data may include device information and error stack traces but does not contain personally identifiable information.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data in accordance with Google's advertising policies, including device identifiers and general usage information, to serve relevant ads. We minimize the data shared with advertising services. You can opt out of personalized advertisements through your device settings. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.

7. Subscription and Payment Data

Subscription purchases are processed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment information, billing details, or financial data. Subscription status is managed by the respective app store.

9. AI-Generated Content

Some audio content, soundscapes, and media within the App may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. We make reasonable efforts to ensure the quality and appropriateness of all content. 10. Content and Copyright (DMCA Compliance)

We respect intellectual property rights. Some content in the App may include sounds, music, or media sourced from third-party providers or generated with AI assistance. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure proper licensing:

• We do not guarantee that all content is free from copyright claims
• Users are responsible for their own use of content accessed through the App

We will investigate and respond within 10 business days.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the App inappropriately, please contact us.

All network communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption. Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is no centralized database of user information that could be compromised. Your on-device data is protected by your device's built-in security features.

13. Your Rights

Since all personal data is stored exclusively on your device:

• Access & Deletion: You can view and delete all your data through the App's Settings at any time
• Data Portability: Your data is on your device and under your control
• Objection to Processing: You can disable analytics in the App's Settings
• Complaint: EU residents may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority

14. International Users

Digital Ventures OU is based in Estonia, a member of the European Union. The App complies with GDPR and applicable EU data protection regulations. If you use the App outside the EU, please be aware that third-party services we use (Google, Apple) may process data in accordance with their global privacy policies.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
